Herbal Tinctures

WHAT IS A TINCTURE?
In the simplest terms, a tincture is just like an extract!!!
Instead of being used to flavor your foods, like vanilla,
it is used to help support the body.
A tincture is made when dry plant material is submerged in alcohol and kept in a dark place for a few weeks to several months. The alcohol draws the nutrients of the plant out, the plant material is discarded and/or used as compost for the garden, and the remaining content is used as a remedy because it contains that essence of the plant that was tinctured.
